Sean Penn’s Acceptance Speech for Milk

I have not seen Milk yet. I don’t get to many movies, in fact the last one I saw in a theater was one with Sandra Bullock where the time was all mixed up. Not the one with Keanu Reeves but the other one. I really need to get out more. I do want to see Milk. If you have seen it please let me know what you thought of it.

  1. MILKhas to be the best movie I have watched in a very long time! I can’t tell how much this movie touched me and inspired me to continue my Podcast. I strongly recommend go to the theater and watch it and be amazed by Sean Penn’s performance – the Oscar is well deserved!

  2. I thoroughly believe that it would b the height of awesome for someone to create an internet group, ning network, or something named “You Commie Homo-Lovin’ sons of guns”. I just love that phrase.

  3. We never get to the movies but watch a lot at home. I hadn’t even heard of it until the Oscars but definitely will put it on the list when it comes out.

  4. We just watched Milk a couple of nights ago and thought very highly of the movie. Sean Penn does an excellent job playing Harvey Milk. We seen a small part of the Oscars the other night and my husband was like “Why did Sean Penn get an Oscar for this movie”. A few nights later we sat down and watched it, the hubby was like Oscar well-deserved. A very touching and awesome film.

  5. Ah, I LOVED Milk.. Please, go see it!! And take Kleenex.
The scene back then in SF has always fascinated me, not just Harvey Milk, but the whole deal.

Sean Penn was superb, and so was Emile Hirsch, and all the cast. Totally deserved more Oscars!! And Sean’s speech was awesome, I had friends round, and the room erupted in cheers..
We made almost as much noise as when the election results were called!!

  6. I haven’t seen milk yet but I hear great things so I will prolly see it. By the way, this is brittney from shadowsin.com I added you on this blog site as well. If you want you can replace shadowsin.com with my prettify.net xoxo

  7. Sadly I am like you and woefully far behind on movies. I THINK the last adult movie I saw was “Gladiator”. I have seen kid movies more recently though, whoop de doo. All these award shows remind me how out of the loop I am!

  8. I am looking forward to this movie when it will be shown in the movie houses here in our place.

I would also like to inform you that you are a top dropper on my blog. Thanks for dropping. Please claim your top dropper award at giftforalloccasions.

    Congratulations!
